PHIPPS CONSERVATORY AND BOTANICAL GARDENS + VALENTINE’S DAY

This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I celebrated Valentine’s Day a day early and went to Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in Schenley Park. I have wanted to go here for years and we finally had the perfect day to visit. As you could tell from the picture above, it was freezing outside so it was so nice to do an activity inside where it was nice and warm. They did have different areas where you had to walk outside from building to building but it wasn’t obviously for very long.

The first room we went into had me absolutely speechless! I literally walked through the door and thought I was in Hawaii. Everything was so vibrant and just incredible. Due to the Covid restrictions, every path was not open so they did have things marked off but you could still pretty much see everything. I personally thought it kept things super organized and everyone was moving in a timely manner. You do have to purchase your tickets in advanced because of this.

The second room we went into was filled with Orchids. It was so gorgeous! There was so much to look at, all we kept saying was “look how cool this is” lol. Each month, they have a different event in which February was their Orchid and Tropical Bonsai Show.

The next room we went into was pretty cool as well. The fog in the water was the perfect touch. This room would be so pretty to get wedding photos in! You could check out their pricing and stuff here.

After leaving that area, we walked into this. These pictures do not do it justice. It was insanely gorgeous!

This room reminded me of a fairytale with the little house. I feel like this would be so cute for a little kids photoshoot.

I was SO excited to share pictures of this room! This was one of the rooms that I couldn’t wait to get into. I love all things cactus and really just the boho dessert vibe. Needless to say, it did not disappoint!

After leaving this room, we walked through a couple more and then went to Condado Tacos for an early dinner. It is located in Lawrenceville and was SO freaking good. I can’t recommend stopping at these two places enough!
