I am only twenty-five years old but I sure love spending my weekends hanging out on the couch, watching TV, in my pajamas. Since that is usually what I am doing 99% of the time especially in the winter, I wanted to stock up on a some new sets. The first place that I went to was of course Target. I ended up finding three different sets.
Women’s Beautifully Soft Notch Collar Pajama Set – Stars Above
These are super comfortable and perfect for all seasons. Sometimes I sleep with a heated blanket or my heating pad so wearing short sleeves and shorts is perfect. If I could suggest any one of these it would be this set.
Women’s Perfectly Cozy Lounge Jumpsuit – Stars Above
So believe it or not this jumpsuit is considered lounge wear. A girl that I work with had it on and I went to Target right after I got off to buy it. It is so freaking comfortable and soft. I wear it to work with a cute cardigan and always get so many compliments.
Women’s Plaid Cozy Pajamas Set – Stars Above
Another super soft and comfortable set. One thing that I thought was a little annoying was after only a few washes, the plaid really faded. Sometimes that happens with soft materials so I am not too annoyed but I did wish it kept its color. Otherwise this set is perfect for the Holidays!
Old Navy Thermal – Knit Long Sleeve // Old Navy Thermal
Old Navy recently opened up at my local mall and ever since, I became a huge fan. I never really shopped there before but I have found so many cute things for a really good price. I love this pajama set because it is not only cute but really good quality. Unfortunately, each piece is sold separately but it does make it easier for mixing and matching!
Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to share my collaboration with Getaway House! This past weekend, my boyfriend and I went to Lisbon, Ohio to stay one night in one of their tiny cabins. We truly had the best time ever! If you’re not familiar with Getaway House, they just recently opened up a Pittsburgh/Cleveland location that have over twenty little cabins nestled away in the woods under a bunch of pine trees. I was absolutely shocked when we pulled up because the landscape itself was absolutely gorgeous!
One thing that I love about this concept is although it is similar to a campground, you still had your privacy. I also really liked how you didn’t have to stop and get keys, they just text you your code and cabin name a few hours before check in. It really made everything hassle free! Since check in was at 3pm we pulled up around 4pm that way we still had daylight left to get everything organized. It took us about an hour and a half to get there from Pittsburgh so it wasn’t bad at all. Just as an FYI, these cabins obviously do not have a TV which allows you to really relax without any “outside noise”. They also have a cell phone lock box that you can put your phone in for the time being.
It is a “tiny cabin” but it had a lot more space than I had ever thought. I was shocked on how big the kitchen and shower were. I was a little worried that my boyfriend and I wouldn’t have that much space but we really had no issues at all. One major thing that I loved was how clean everything was. For it being “in the woods” you definitely couldn’t tell by the inside. After we took some photos we got ready for dinner and headed to this really cool place in town called The Courthouse Inn & Restaurant. It was about ten minutes from the Getaway outpost so it was very convenient. They had a tremendous menu and I highly suggest stopping here. Your jaw will definitely drop when you walk into their bathrooms lol!
A few other places we also found were Pondi’s Restaurant & Bar and Shale Tavern & Grill. Both were only a few minutes away from the outpost. The little town that the restaurant we went to was in reminded me so much of Savannah, Georgia. In the spring/fall I am sure it is really gorgeous so walking around there would be something to do as well. If I am not mistaking, it looked like they were adding in more shops and even a coffee spot so that would be exciting!
After dinner we came back to the cabin and put on some comfy clothes. We unfortunately didn’t have a fire because we were freezing but we ended up streaming the Pittsburgh Penguins game on my boyfriends laptop so it was nice to get all cozy and watch that together. Some people have problems falling asleep without a TV being on and my boyfriend is one of them, so he downloaded two Netflix movies. Since I didn’t feel like reading my book that I brought, we fell asleep to the Grinch, which I wasn’t mad about it haha. I ended up waking up around 4am because there was a torrential downpour outside and it was so LOUD. Although I ended up falling back asleep, we both woke up around 7am and decided to head home. All in all we had the best time and both can’t wait to go back with family and friends! I highly suggest renting out one of these cabins whether it be for a romantic getaway or a friends trip, you’ll have a blast!

Can y’all believe that it is already December? I feel like this year flew by! With the new year approaching, I wanted to really put out some content that will be beneficial to bettering yourself for the new year. I personally am using the new year as a fresh start, to work on myself, and better my day to day life. I plan on really focusing on my body and my mental health. Since I am really going to be focusing on that, I wanted to share some helpful posts that is not only beneficial to myself, but that will also be beneficial to you. I am kicking off this month with my first “self-help” blog post and as you can tell by the title, it is going to be about all things organization. I honestly get so many messages from you girls asking how I stay organized with everything that I am involved in, so your wish is my command. For starters, I splurged and bought my Louis Vuitton Agenda in which I use as my planner and as my “important notes” holder. My planner is self explanatory as I use it for all the things from my personal life to my work life. I was always buying a new planner every couple of months because lets be honest, I change my mind constantly. Because of that, I decided to just splurge on something that I have wanted for years and I have yet to regret that decision. I actually made a blog post all about this purchase so if interested, you can read it here. As for my notebooks, I used to have a million thanks to TJ Maxx and because of that I was all over the place. I was using four at a time for different things to the point that I actually felt unorganized because carrying four big notebooks is a little ridiculous haha! When I realized that, I decided to get rid of them all and buy smaller ones that are not only titled but will actually be put to use. I purchased the three notebooks above from May Designs. If you’re not familiar with May Designs they actually have a line at Target. I have used their custom notebooks since I was in high school so I decided to order from them again. I purchased the lemon notebook that has my name on it for my to-do lists. I always used to use post-its and little note sheets but having everything in an actual book makes it a heck of a lot easier to stay organized. The second book that I use with the rainbows and With Love From Jordyn printed on it is for all of my blog related things. I write down all of my posts that go live as well as all of my collaboration details. Lastly, the notebook with the peaches is what I use as a more self-help journal whether that be gratitude journaling or writing in my favorite quotes. It pretty much is just a notebook for thoughts being put down on paper. I really suggest using these little notebooks because not only is the size great but you get a lot of paper which in turn will make them last longer. I hope this post was helpful when it comes to keeping your day to day life organized! Feel free to email me with any questions. Organizing is my jam!
I absolutely love eating zucchini but it can become super repetitive. I have tried multiple recipes but nothing that can work as a snack or appetizer so I made up my own. I am sure this has been done a million times before but regardless I figured I would share.
Parmesan Zucchini Slices:
I used two small zucchinis and made roughly 25 slices. You can switch up the spices to add or take out whatever you’d like.
2 Small Zucchinis
Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Mrs. Dash Garlic and Herb Seasoning
McCormick Minced Onion Seasoning
1. Cut up the two zucchinis into slices
2. Drizzle cheese and both seasonings over the slices
3. Cook in a conventional oven on 400 for roughly 10-15 minutes
Happy Hump Day Babes! I am so happy to share that I am working with Caseapp again! If you’re not familiar with Caseapp, they are an online retailer that specializes in custom phone cases as well as skins for your laptop. So far I have a laptop skin and three iphone cases. I always struggled with finding unique phone cases that actually last for more than a month. Their phone cases are truly amazing quality and last through many pavement drops, I have a slight problem with dropping my phone, oops. Even through many drops, none of them have even cracked.
These phone cases would make the perfect stocking stuffer! Here are the two that I picked out: Stacking Case // Leopard Case
I had a really hard time picking two out because I wanted so many more so I wanted to link some of my other favorites!
Magic Vibes // Beige // Graphic Snake Beige // Sunset // Peaches // Peachy Pink // Tiny Firs // Beige Zebra // Color Mix

I am getting so excited for Thanksgiving, I feel like a little kid again. With having IBS, I always have to watch what I eat, but when it comes to thanksgiving dinner, I have no boundaries. With my IBS, I also always get super bloated which is mainly why I rarely wear tight clothing. I have been buying mostly sweaters for the fall/winter so this Old Navy sweater is one of my new ones. It is super comfortable and although it is a little tight, it is flowy in the stomach area. If you have yet to realize, it also is my favorite color. Rusty orange has been my obsession the past year and my closet is really starting to show it. Oops! I paired the sweater with my American Eagle jeans that I actually cut to make them more cropped. They are a little big on me so a new pair is on my Christmas list, haha! Depending on how much you eat, jeans might not be a good idea but overall it is a cute outfit that would be super cute for a party and or dinner. And I mean you could always unbutton your jeans and hide it with the sweater. I have done that trick more times than I would like to admit! Lol!
This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I went to Lumaze in downtown Pittsburgh. After hanging out there for a few hours, we finally went to Roland’s Seafood Grill. I have been wanting to go here for so long now and since we were super close we decided to go. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and my boyfriend ordered their famous lobster roll. My mushrooms were pretty good, I just am not that big of a fan of red peppers and the crab meat had a lot of it in it. I had a few bites of his lobster roll though and it was SO good. I highly suggest stopping by if you’re ever in the area. Here is their Lunch Menu and their Dinner Menu.
