Can y’all believe we are already one week into the new year? I sometimes feel like the days go by in a blink of an eye. So crazy. Last week, I basically slept at my boyfriends every night because my dad spent his days off of work redoing my entire bedroom. I was a little nervous on how it would turnout but y’all, I am OBSESSED. So for about the past two years, I have had these ugly blue/gray walls that always seemed to make my room dim and not calming whatsoever to be in. Since I plan on moving out within the next year, we both agreed that it was time to patch all of my holes and all of my paint mishaps. I tend to change my mind a lot so I had a bunch of tiny pin/nail holes from all of my wall decor that I move around. And yes, I painted my room that ugly blue/gray all by myself. So in other words, it did not turn out good. Thank the lord for giving me a father who not only kicks butt in the office but also as a personal handyman haha! Enjoy!

Header Image (32)Can y’all believe that it is already almost December? This year has really flown by for me. Although I had a pretty solid year and grew a lot, I am so ready for a fresh start in 2020. I usually put up my Christmas decor after Thanksgiving, but I have some holiday content that needs to be approved prior to posting so I had to put things up a little earlier this year. Definitely not mad about it. The past couple of years, I have always stuck with the farmhouse theme but now that my personal style has been changing I wanted to go with a more modern/neutral type of decor. I plan on buying a new Christmas tree next month so I may end up editing this post with the new tree. It all depends on pricing though because ya girl is on a budget and trees aren’t cheap. Aside from my white tree, everything else is new! I love how everything turned out because it doesn’t clutter up my room with mishmosh. I currently still live at home with my parents so when it comes to decorating I am very limited.

Rodeo Drive(5)I mostly purchased everything from Hobby Lobby and Home Goods but with those stores it is hard to find the exact links. So for the items I was able to link, I did, and for the items that I couldn’t find, I linked similar ones. I hope this post was helpful and gave you some inspo to change your holiday decor up!

Header Image (65)Since I redid my bathroom, I wanted to reorganize my linen closet. I am so happy with how it turned out and I was able to do it for under $100! I still live at home with my parents but am planning on moving out next year after graduating so I am slowly getting rid of things and purchasing things that I can use at my own house. I purchased all of the bins from Target so I have the links below. As for the baskets and ouch container, I bought them at my local Homegoods store.
