Neutral Christmas Decor + 2019

Can y’all believe that it is already almost December? This year has really flown by for me. Although I had a pretty solid year and grew a lot, I am so ready for a fresh start in 2020. I usually put up my Christmas decor after Thanksgiving, but I have some holiday content that needs to be approved prior to posting so I had to put things up a little earlier this year. Definitely not mad about it.

The past couple of years, I have always stuck with the farmhouse theme but now that my personal style has been changing I wanted to go with a more modern/neutral type of decor. I plan on buying a new Christmas tree next month so I may end up editing this post with the new tree. It all depends on pricing though because ya girl is on a budget and trees aren’t cheap. Aside from my white tree, everything else is new! I love how everything turned out because it doesn’t clutter up my room with mishmosh. I currently still live at home with my parents so when it comes to decorating I am very limited.

I mostly purchased everything from Hobby Lobby and Home Goods but with those stores it is hard to find the exact links. So for the items I was able to link, I did, and for the items that I couldn’t find, I linked similar ones. I hope this post was helpful and gave you some inspo to change your holiday decor up!

The Loveliest Blogger Bash 2019

Last Sunday, I stepped completely out of my comfort zone and attended one of my first Blogger Bash events. I had no idea what to expect, and with getting my IUD just a day prior, I wasn’t sure if I was even going to be able to make it. But I did, and couldn’t be happier for doing so. I started blogging purely to share my love for fashion and to help others save some coin! But before WLFJ became what it is now, I started blogging on Tumblr. I was a junior in high school and just had my first surgery on my stomach. Since I was off of school for a few days, I was bored and decided to find a new hobby. I wasn’t consistent but every once in a while I would go on and share some fashion related posts. Come senior year, I had a another major surgery which in turn had me in the hospital for two weeks, and because of how invasive it was, I had to leave high school and get home schooled. I had teachers come to my house three days a week for a few hours but other than that, I was so bored. I was in a lot of pain for months and wasn’t able to do much, so that is when I dived in full force and started being consistent on Tumblr. For me it was just something to do and I would of never guessed that the blogging world would ever be what it is now. In 2017, I began With Love From Jordyn and if you would of told me that I would of been invited to a Blogger Bash, with over 20+ girls, that I have never met, and that I actually attended it, I wouldn’t of believed you.

This event was beyond perfect. I met so many amazing women that were all so inspiring. The event was held at The Loveliest Coffee & Clothes and Glow Blotique. Both which were absolutely gorgeous shops. We all had our hair done at Glow Blotique and all of the photo ops were at The Loveliest Co. It truly is the most instagramable shop that I have ever seen. Florals were by @stemsfloral.

They had all of the things from cookies, cupcakes, charcuterie boards, champagne, coffee, and tea. The food was by Mediterra, Becka Bakes, and Tasty Baker.

After mingling for a while, we all picked out some pieces from The Loveliest and took photos outside with photographer Caitlin Thomas who is @caitlintphoto on insta! This part was SUPER out of my comfort zone because of course, all of my insecurities started running through my head. It’s one thing taking your own photos but it’s another having a professional take them. Caitlin worked her magic though, and I am actually obsessed with how the pictures turned out.

After taking all of the photos, we had an Instagram Tips & Tricks Panel with Katie from @loveyoursocialmedia, Cristin from @gossboss_photovideo, and Brea from @thethinkingbranch. All of three of these women were so inspiring and I truly learned so much. It was nice to see women supporting women.

Lastly, I was so happy to meet Victoria from @ohjoyfulday who made this watercolor portrait. I have wanted this done for years now for a few things that I have up my sleeve so stay tuned!

Current Amazon Favorites

Hi Babes! I recently made a huge Amazon haul that turned out to be pretty good so I wanted to share everything. I randomly go on these amazon buying sprees with no rhyme or reason but this time I bought mostly everything that has been on my wish list. If I could suggest one thing out of this, it would be the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer $38.99. You can thank my later! It was so good that I actually wrote a blog post all about it here. Amazon has become so popular lately, it is crazy how many deals they have. I truly haven’t purchased a bad item. And that is saying a lot. I personally do not have prime, but my parents do so I always use their account. Prime is easily becoming my new addiction.

Happy Friday! I am so relieved that today is Friday because this week has been a big ball of WTF. My semester is pretty much over so I have been slammed with finals and semester projects. My internship is also over so that meant I had to write a 10 page paper. Needless to say ya girl was struggling. But now that everything is over I am ready to have a relaxing fun weekend! Tonight, I am planning on laying low but tomorrow night my boyfriend and I are going downtown to celebrate our anniversary and then Sunday afternoon my aunt, grandma, and mom are coming with me to a local tea house to celebrate my birthday and mothers day. I am so excited to go back their because it is the cutest place ever. I will definitely be making a blog post all about it so stay tuned! As for my hair, yesterday, I went back to Dallas Beauty Lounge to get my hair done. I have been there a few times for facials and lash stuff but never tried getting my hair done. I am absolutely in love, I went to Amber and she did amazing! Everyone that works there is so nice and its just an overall cute environment. I highly suggest if you are in the Pittsburgh area to give them a visit!

JORD The Perfect Spring Accessory

Spring is officially here which means mother’s day and graduation are just a few weeks away. For me the timing couldn’t be any better because I have many friends and family with spring and summer birthdays, so things get pretty hectic. That being said, I have partnered up with JORD for a very special giveaway!

If you are not familiar with JORD, they make hand crafted wood watches for both men and women. I received mine in the mail a few days ago and have worn it every day since! It’s the perfect accessory for any outfit and every time that I wear it, I receive so many compliments on it. The watch that I picked out is from their Frankie collection and made from zebrawood, which to me is pretty cool! Better yet, everyone loves a personalized gift so JORD even offers an engraving option.

If you’re loving the Frankie Zebrawood & Champagne watch as much as I am, then this giveaway is the perfect chance for you to get your own! One lucky winner will be chosen at the end of the contest to receive a $100.00 off gift code to spend on a JORD watch of your choice, which to me is pretty darn sweet! Although there can only be one winner, every person that enters the giveaway will receive a 10% off gift code to apply towards your purchase which to me is a win win.

Enter here!

In addition to entering this giveaway, head over to JORD’s website to see some of their other hand crafted watches!

Today’s blog post is in partnership with JORD and all opinions are my own.

H&M Easter Dress

Outfit Details: H&M Dress | Shein Purse | Target Shoes | Forever 21 Hat

Since Easter is this weekend, I wanted to share some of my favorite spring dresses including the one that I am wearing above. I love all of the spring colors and patterns that many stores are carrying this year so when I saw this dress I definitely needed it! My favorite stores that I like to buy dresses from are Francesca’s and Nordstrom. I am starting to add high end staples to my closet and dresses are the perfect thing to splurge on because you can dress them up or down. I am starting to add some into my wardrobe for attending baby showers and weddings. Now that I am getting older, I am getting invited to more and more weddings and having a dress on lock is a big relief!
