FARMACY COCONUT GEL SHEET MASK – BRIGHTENING | Coconut-water-infused sheet mask with purple broccoli and plant-based collagen for a healthy looking glow. This is one of my favorite sheet masks as well as the hydrating one. They are super easy to use and even leave a cooling sensation which I love. I leave it on for ten minutes. It helps with loss of firmness, elasticity, dullness and uneven texture. It also is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. I have repurchased this many times because it is so good!

FARMACY COCONUT GEL SHEET MASK – HYDRATING | Coconut-water-infused sheet mask with ultra-hydrating hyaluronic acid and cucumber extract to help skin appear healthier and glowing. It helps with dryness, loss of firmness and elasticity. It also is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. I have repurchased this many times as well so I really recommend both of these sheet masks.

GRANDE COSMETICS LASH ENHANCING SERUM MINI | This serum helps with making your lashes longer and thicker. I have seen this everywhere on Instagram so I wanted to try it out. For application, you are supposed to use a single stroke on your eyelid just above your upper lash line daily and allow it to dry for a minute or two. It says that you can notice a difference within six weeks but to allow a full three months because of your lash cycle. I will report back with my overall review/experience after using it for a few weeks. It is free of parabens and is also cruelty-free.

FRESH KOMBUCHA FACIAL TREATMENT ESSENCE | This is a bestselling anti-pollution treatment essence powered by antioxidant-rich kombucha for smooth skin. It helps with dark spots, fine lines, wrinkles and dullness. You gently pat it over cleansed face and neck with your palms and then apply your serum and moisturizer. It is a liquid form so I just use a little bit on each part of my face. I have already noticed that it has made my skin feel really soft and it smells good! It is free of sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens and phthalates.

DAE DAILY SHAMPOO | This shampoo gently cleanses and hydrates your hair and scalp while detoxifying and removing buildup without stripping your hair of its natural oils. Clearly, the packaging is amazing but I was excited to see how the formula was. After trying it out, it smells absolutely amazing! The packaging was a little hard to get open but aside from that I can’t think of anything that I don’t like. It left my hair feeling smooth and looking shiny!

DAE DAILY CONDITIONER | Same thing as the shampoo, this stuff is great. It repairs and strengthens damaged hair, improves shine and elasticity and restores smoothness.

DAE DEEP CONDITIONING TREATMENT | This treatment hydrates and strengthens, gently cleanses without stripping and promotes shine and smoothness. You can use it weekly or as needed. You massage it from mid-lengths to ends on damp hair leaving it on for 5-10 minutes and then rinsing.

SUMMER FRIDAYS LIP BUTTER BALM | This is a silky vegan lip mask that hydrates and soothes your lips while sealing in moisture. It smells really good and has worked wonders on my lips! I did notice that the mask leaks out thought so be careful when opening it.

TAN-LUXE ILLUMINATING SELF TAN DROPS | I have seen so many people use these self tanning drops so I wanted to give them a try. To apply, you put a couple of drops into your moisturizer, serums or face oil and then rub in all over your face. Always make sure you wash your hands afterwards! I only have used these once and didn’t notice a difference when I woke up so I will report back after using it a couple of more times. It does smell really good though! I would say that it does not have the typical self tanner smell which I really liked. This is also cruelty- and toxin-free.

BOBBI BROWN SKIN WEIGHTLESS POWDER FOUNDATION | This was another repurchase of mine. It is very pricey but I have yet to find a powder that is even half as good as this one. So I stock up whenever this sale happens. I bought it in the color warm ivory because it works all year round for me. I typically put it on top of my liquid foundation and it makes my skin look insanely smooth. It is an oil-free powder that has a soft – creamy texture with adjustable, natural-looking coverage.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS SINGLE EYE SHADOW – HOT CHOCOLATE | These are my all time favorite eye shadows. Typically, I buy them at TJ Maxx because they’re super cheap there but I wanted to get this color for my eyeliner. They blend so well and last hours!

ISLE OF PARADISE SELF TANNING DROPS РDARK | This was another repurchase for me except this time, I bought the dark shade instead of the medium. I bought two of these because they are seriously my absolute favorite self tanner. It is super easy to apply as you just put a few drops into your moisturizer. I apply mine at night after the shower. Isle of Paradise’s products are made with color-correcting technologies to help even out skin tone. This is cruelty-free, vegan, organic, and made using certified organic ingredients.

LANCOME MONSIEUR BIG MASCARA | This is my all time favorite mascara. I have been using this one for years. It is a long-lasting, voluminous mascara with a black-boosting polymer in its pigment for 12 times more volume and up to 24 hours of wear.

NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER | Another favorite of mine that I have been using for years. This concealer is an award-winning concealer that corrects, contours, highlights, and perfects up to 16 hours. The botanical blend hydrates, firms, reduces redness, and strengthens the look of skin by helping its barrier retain moisture. Typically, concealers really dry out and irritate my under eyes but this one has never done that.

FRESH ROSE HYALURONIC ACID TONER | Another repurchase for me! This toner is awesome if you have sensitive skin. It is a daily, non-stripping toner with real rose petals and hyaluronic acid that minimizes the look of pores while increasing skin hydration. It doesn’t irritate my skin because it is not as harsh as some other toners are. To use, pour some onto a cotton pad and sweep over your face and neck. You can use this daily, morning and night, after cleansing and before you apply your serum and moisturizer.

SEPHORA NOURISHING MOISTURIZER | I have used the Drunk Elephant whipped moisturizer for years now but it becoming super pricey for me. I was talking to a Sephora employee about switching it up and she said this was just as good so I am excited to try it out especially since it is $43 cheaper. This is a daily cream that moisturizes, nourishes, repairs, and softens skin while preventing premature aging.

FRESH SEABERRY MOISTURIZING FACE OIL | This face oil is a moisturizing blend of antioxidant-packed pure oils and vitamin E for youthful skin. It helps with dryness, dullness, uneven texture and loss of firmness/elasticity. To apply, you massage two drops onto your skin after cleansing and toning. So far, I really like this face oil! I have really sensitive skin so trying new products can go down hill quickly but this left my skin feeling very soft and smooth with no allergic reaction.

HOURGLASS ANGLE LINER BRUSH | I have been wanting to try powder eyeliner for a while now. That being said, I wanted to invest in a good brush so the line turns out sharp looking. This one had good reviews so I went for it! I will report back on how well it works.

Hi Babes- With everything going on in the world, I wanted to make a quick little blog post on different gift ideas that you can get your mom that won’t break the bank. If you’re really struggling and unable to get your mother a gift, you could always go and cut wildflowers and make your own bouquet. Where I live, we have so many wild flowers that just grow on the side of the road so that would be something that would be free and something that would be just as sweet as a gift!

Who is VIIcode?

If you’re not familiar with VIIcode, they are a skincare brand that focuses only on oxygen-based eye care. VIIcode has a lot of history behind its name as they started out in 1945 as the first luxury club for customized skincare in New York. VIIcode only accepted members who owned high social status.

VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask

VIIcode sent me these oxygen eye masks to try out that help with dark under eye circles, crows feet and under eye puffiness. They are alcohol free and are non-comedogenic products. There are six treatments in each box and it is suggested to use three treatments a week for 6-8 hours at night. If sleeping with them on is uncomfortable, it is suggested to wear them for at least 2-4 hours.

My VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask Review

Being only 25, I don’t have bad under eye circles or crows feet but I do sometimes get puffiness. I tried these out for a week and noticed that my puffiness went down but I also did have irritation after wearing them. I do have very sensitive skin so that is expected when trying new products. I really liked the cooling sensation as well as the cloth on the pads that make them much easier to use compared to other brands. If you’re interested in purchasing, you can check out their website or their amazon store front.

This has been an on-going topic in my dms so I wanted to talk about it on here. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the most recent photo shoot that I did with a bunch of local girl bosses. A few people messaged me on how I was able to be apart of that as well as the shoot that I did a few months back. So I am here to talk about all things blog related from how I got started and how I got into networking. First and foremost, I am a very small blogger compared to other women but to me it is not about the number of followers or the likes I get on a picture. For me, it is all about helping others. I don’t need a paycheck. I don’t need to be insta famous and quit honestly, I don’t ever want to be. But one thing I do want, is for people to not only be inspired but to truly get something out of my posts. I want you to walk away with confidence and a smile and maybe some outfit inspo or a lifestyle tip + trick or most recently, a health and wellness remedy.

How I Got Started

I started blogging back in middle school when tumblr was a big thing. I never was serious about it but I did gain a significant amount of followers. Fashion has just always been a passion of mine, I was even planning on going to IUP for fashion merchandising prior to my health problems.  When Instagram became bigger and bigger, I then decided to make a website and start sharing my outfits on there. I started with just a free version of WordPress for a few years and then after realizing this was something I really wanted to dive into, I bought my current website.

How I Gained A Loyal Following

For starters, if you’re looking on starting a blog thinking you’re going to get a paycheck, try something else haha. Because that is more than likely not going to happen for a very LONG TIME. I have been blogging full time for over two years and have just recently began making money but it is not even close to something that I can live off of. As for my followers, I don’t really pay attention to the number, but I have recently been gaining a decent amount and all I can say is, it is because I am genuine and just post the things that I love. I used to always worry about what everyone else was doing and tried copying them and I hated myself for that and my content showed. You can tell when someone is not being true to themselves. If you’re not being yourself your followers will take note to that. You are your brand so remember to find your niche and run with it.

Networking in the Blogger World

As for networking, this past year has been my first time focusing on meeting other bloggers and getting my name out there. Oddly enough, I tend to be an introvert, but I have met so many AMAZING women from stepping out of my comfort zone. I did a blogger bash at The Lovliest in Sewickley a few months ago which is where I started realizing how important networking really was. It was a free event that had speakers, food, coffee, and all things pink. All of us girls got our hair done and it was just the best time. But I wasn’t going to go. I had just got my IUD put in not even 48 hours prior and if I am being honest I was petrified. I was going an hour away to a place I have never been to be in a room full of gorgeous women that I have never met. But guess what, I went and I had the best freaking time. Within minutes of walking in, I met two girls who are now both some of my fav blogger friends in Pittsburgh. Not only did I meet new friends but I networked and met so many amazing girl bosses and I was overall so inspired. In a room full of absolutely gorgeous boss babes not once did I feel out of place. I felt confident and just overall so thankful for the opportunity.  A few weeks after that event, Katherine the owner of the Loveliest, reached back out about a Galentines/Bridal shoot that her and a few other girl bosses were putting together. If I would of never went to the prior event, I would of never had the opportunity. So of course I said yes and eight hours later, I drove home with a smile on my face because I once again, had the best time. I met more boss babes and even drove with one of the girls I met at the prior event hey Crystal hey! How funny is it that she literally lives not even five minutes from me. So shout out to Crystal from Crystal June Blog! As for the other boss babes…I met the photographer who was so sweet and who is truly a gem in the photography world, Molly. Check her website out here. I met the planner + florist Hannah from Sip and Celebrate who absolutely KILLED it. I highly recommend her if you are local. Amanda who was my makeup artist from Glam to Go … I have never had my makeup done before because I actually was a freelance makeup artist for four years so I was always the one doing the makeup but even through my fidgeting she nailed it. And lastly, Kat who did our hair from Lavender Loft Hair Studio. As you can tell from the pictures, she is a hair fairy! Everyone was so incredibly nice. I shot with three other bloggers, Crystal, Anna from  who is the absolute sweetest ( I briefly met her at the blogger bash) and I met another local blogger babe Leilani from The Cole Journal who was also super sweet. So basically what I am trying to say is get out of your comfort zone and do your thing. Because deciding to go that day was the best thing I have ever done.

During this quarantine, I have organized pretty much every single room in my house. My bathroom was pretty organized to begin with but I wanted to change up some of the decor. I bought this shower curtain from Urban Outfitters and then started decorating off of the color and design. I tried to link everything that I could but some things were sold out so I linked similar items. I can’t wait to move out and start each room fresh though. Some of my favorite stores to buy home decor from is Urban Outfitters, Home Goods, Target and Anthropologie. I am now not planning on moving out until at least the fall because of everything going but I will definitely still be slowly gathering things and starting to get all of my inspo together. Follow me on Pinterest to see what looks I am going for!

I have always been an organized person and I can thank my anxiety for that. If you know me, you know that I basically am an office depot lol! I have so many notebooks, pens, post-its, highlighters, etc. I have it all! I get a lot of questions on how I am currently staying organized so I figured I would write up a little blog post about it. I am not sure if this is something that you would be interested in, but I personally enjoy reading on how others stay organized and sometimes I’ll leave with a tip or two.

With having a blog, things can get very overwhelming especially when you are working with other brands. In the past year, I have really amped up my collaborations and sometimes I will be working with four/five companies at the same time so that is why I invested in a good notebook to keep all of the details in one place. I write down every blog post that goes live with the date and I write all of my collaboration details. This makes it easier to refer back to instead of going through all of my emails. You can purchase this notebook here.

Along with staying organized, I also recently started a journal. I don’t write in it every single day but it is nice to have one just to write down thoughts or ideas. It also really has helped with my anxiety especially during this Covid-19 stuff. I think journaling is cool because you can always look back years later. I bought this Moleskine composition notebook from Target. I will link it here.

This is another notebook that I bought from Papier. I use this basically for everything and anything. If I have any ideas I write them in here, if I am listening to a podcast, I write my notes in here or even if I am reading a book, the notes go in here. It is nice to have a notebook for things like that because everything is in one place.

Lastly, this is my holy grail. I have wanted this Louis Vuitton Agenda for years and I finally bought it about a year ago. I use this every single day. I have each section tabbed with dividers. I have a planner section which holds my calendar, a finance section, notes section and a important section which has my healthcare information, passwords, etc.

I will update this post as I continue to find what works for me. I have my hands in a lot of different things so if it wasn’t for being organized and separating it all, I would be a mess lol!

FOUNDATION clinique acne solutions liquid makeup | This is my absolute favorite foundation. Since my skin is so sensitive, I have to really be cautious on what products I use. I have tried foundations from Makeup Forever, It Cosmetics, Estee Lauder, Bare Minerals and many others but nothing compared to this one. I would always end up breaking out or just simply not liking how it looked. This one is lightweight, medium coverage and with my oily skin, it actually stays on. It is non-irritating, oil free and has medicated ingredients to help treat existing breakouts. Typically, I wear shades 2, 3 or 4 depending on how tan I am.

POWDER clinique stay-matte pressed powder | When I use foundation, I always put powder over it to keep it in place since my t-zone gets oily. This powder pairs very well with the foundation above and I like how it is compact and easy to use on the go. I use the shade 17.

CONCEALER nars radiant creamy concealer | This is by far my favorite concealer. I love how it is lightweight but full coverage. I had dry under eyes so a lot of the time, I get really bad irritation from other concealers. This one doesn’t bother me at all and is also easy to blend in. I use the shade vanilla.

SETTING POWDER laura mercier translucent loose setting powder | If you know, you know. This is just the best setting powder on the market. It literally lasts me forever. It is worth every penny.

SHADOW anastasia beverly hills eye shadow singles | I typically use four colors. A warm brown, dark brown, light brown and a nude. I change the colors up so I can’t give you the exact names. ABH just has the best shadows in my opinion because they are long lasting and also super easy to blend. As for what I do, I first cover my lid with a nude color. Then I go over that with a light brown. I put a warm brown shade in my crease and then finish the look with the dark brown blended on the corners.

BROWS anastasia beverly hills perfect brow pencil | I did end up tinting my brows but I use this pencil to fill in the scarce areas. The pencil lasts a lot longer for me compared to the other brow products so it has been my go-to for years. I use the shade blonde.

BRONZER benefit hoola matte bronzer | I have been using this bronzer ever since it came out and have yet to fall out of love with it. I literally have nothing bad to say about it. I have never seen a bronzer that works for so many skin tones. It stays on forever and is so easy to blend in. It is definitely my go-to!

BLUSH charlotte tilbury cheek to chic blush | I just recently started using this for the past couple of months and love how pigmented it is. Although, it is a little one the pricey side, it stays on for a while and is easy to blend in.

HIGHLIGHT becca shimmering skin perfector pressed highlighter | Another staple in the makeup world. It stays on my skin for hours and looks amazing on so many skin tones. I have been using this product since it first came out and have purchased many since. A little bit goes a long way so it will last you a very long time.

MASCARA PRIMER lancome cils booser xl super-enhanced mascara base | I use this before I put on my Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara and it works wonders. I have had so many people hooked on this product because it simply is just that good. I put it on and let it sit for about 30 seconds and then I put the mascara on.

MASCARA lancome monsieur big mascara | I have tried many other mascaras, cheap and pricey and always resort back to this one. It is long lasting and really makes my lashes full. One negative is that it doesn’t last as long as I would like as I can only get about three months out of it but it is still so worth it.

EYELINER stila stay all day waterproof liquid eye liner – micro tip | Another staple that I have been using for years. It doesn’t smear, last long and is the perfect shade of black. I like using the micro tip because it is way more precise. I typically will draw a small cat eye because it gives the illusion that your eyes are more open.

BRUSHES morphe | These are my go-to brushes. They are not that pricey but they have a luxury feel. I have been using them for years even on my clients when I was a freelance makeup artist. They work really well and have a huge selection to choose from. Jaclyn Hill and Jeffree Star even have collaborated with them.

Hi Babes! If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know about my new bar cart that I bought from Target. I have wanted one for months now and finally bought it when it was on sale. I have been somewhat collecting vintage glasses from thrift stores and was looking for a way to kind of display them. So I decided to mix it in with my bar cart decor. With it being spring, I added a lot of pink and fresh flowers from Whole Foods. I love how it adds some color into my neutral room! Plus it makes my room smell amazing! I found most things from Target and Amazon all which were pretty cheap. Everything is linked below!

I have spent so much money on brow pencils over the years that I could probably of had numerous Louis Vuitton bags at this point…or better yet, a fairly larger savings account. If I would ever go out with no makeup on, I would be sure to at least have my brows filled in. Being a natural blonde, my brow hair is very light. I have thought about getting microblading done but I personally don’t have hundreds of dollars to blow on something like that. Especially since it doesn’t last long. When I heard about this brow tinting kit on Amazon, I was really tempted. And now that I have tried it out, it is honestly one of my favorite products now. I was a little nervous to try it out but after reading a lot of reviews, I figured I would have nothing to lose especially since I will be stuck at home for quite some time. So if you’re looking to try this out, I can’t think of a better time to do so!

I was really surprised how easy the process was. The kit comes with a bunch of capsules, developer, a mixing bowl and an applicator. You simply just take one capsule and open it in the bowl and then add the same amount of developer. I mixed it up and then applied with the applicator. I let it sit on my eyebrows for about a minute and a half. I think next time, I am going to only do one minute. It does stain your skin so if you happen to get it where you don’t want it, just take a q-tip and remove it before it dries. I shaped my brows a little so I wanted to stain my skin where my hair was scarce. Again, it was a super easy process. I used the color light brown and as you can see, it is not that….but after a few days it faded and now I really love the color! Feel free to ask me any questions below!

Juicing has become so popular over the last year or so that you can almost find it at every grocery store that you go to. That being said, I would typically buy them when I was out and about. Not only are they not as fresh as making my your own but they also are not cheap. Because of that, I had asked my parents for a juicer last year and my mom ended up getting me this one off of Amazon. That was last February and I just now finally got around to using it. Crazy, I know. But honestly, now that we are all basically stuck at home, I couldn’t think of a better time to test it out. Am I right?

My cousin has been juicing for a while now and last summer, she had made me a apple, ginger and carrot juice and it actually was really good so I called her up and she gave me the ingredients. I made that juice first and it was SO SO good as expected. As for the ingredients, I am sure you can guess them. All you need is two apples, three carrots and a tiny piece of ginger. I typically will use the honeycrisp apples since they are sweeter compared to others. After I juice everything, I will let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour or so prior to drinking it. It taste a lot better when it is really cold so I suggest doing that too. Although, if you’re kind of in a rush, you can let it sit in the freezer for a few minutes. That will make it a little bit cold compared to drinking it warm in which I don’t recommend.

The second fresh pressed juice that I made was a celery juice. I was actually shocked on how it tasted. I thought it was going to be disgusting but it actually wasn’t that bad. I used one apple and four celery stalks. Next time, I will use two apples because it had a salty taste so another apple would definitely balance that out more.

Benefits of Juicing

APPLES |Some benefits of juicing apples include that the fiber in the apple pulp can help clear the intestines and averting diseases of the digestive system. Apple peels contain a third or more of the fruit’s compounds that can be useful in fighting a variety of cancers. Apples are also good for asthmatics.

GINGER | Some benefits of juicing ginger is that it can improve digestion, relieve congestion, help with relieving pain, help control high blood pressure, help removing bad breath, help with acne/breakouts and can help with hair growth.

CARROTS | Some benefits of juicing carrots include it can increase your metabolism, help with your vision, help with skin disorders, help boost your immune system, help reduce your risk of cancer, help with healthier pregnancies and strengthen brain function.

CELERY | Some benefits of celery juice include receiving vitamins such as vitamin K, vitamin A and vitamin C. As well as fiber, magnesium, folate and potassium. Celery juice is also great for your digestive system by stimulating stomach acid, it helps your body get rid of waste and bloat. It is said to also help relive heartburn and ingestion. By containing vitamins A, K and C, it can help subside eczema, acne and rosacea. Because it is high in antioxidants, it can help make your complexion more clear/glowing and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots and blemishes.

This information was found through numerous health and wellness websites. Please do your own research or talk to your doctor.
