CELEBRATING MY 28TH BIRTHDAY + LIFE UPDATE

Hey Y’all!

Long time no talk…Life has been crazy busy but I am so happy to start getting back into the blogging world now that things have calmed down a little bit. I still can’t believe that I have been doing this for over 7 years! I was just looking back on my old Tumblr which is where this all started and it was pretty cool to look back on and see how fashion/trends have changed over the years. Things are so different. I feel like fast fashion has taken off while years ago, it was not as popular. Probably because social media wasn’t as big as it is now. Any who, it is wild that I am now 28 years old. It feels just like yesterday where I was celebrating my 21st birthday with all of my friends and family. Looking back, my life has completely changed. Which I guess is expected haha

I am now engaged to my fiancé, Tom, who I met years ago at our local little town bar. Well that is a lie, we met on a dating app (modern day love story, I know). But we actually met in person at the bar. We recently have moved into our new townhouse and so far, I have been loving living together. I do have to say, I thought we would of had a lot more disagreements since we are both only children and are stuck in “our own ways” but it hasn’t been that much of an issue. Even more of an obstacle is that we both work from home so I would like to think we are doing fairly well, haha. Honestly, it has been an easy transition into living together which I guess is a good thing lol

Then as if all of that wasn’t enough of added stress, we just rescued two little kittens a few weeks ago. Their names are Binx and Poppi and they are the cutest little things, ever. They have brought so much joy into my life and I couldn’t imagine life without them. Being only a few weeks old, we really have to watch them since they are so tiny so they are currently living in our bedroom and master bath. It is the perfect size and an easy way to make sure that they don’t get into anything or get loose outside for that matter. They are SO good and have been a lot easier than I thought to take care of!

For my birthday this year, we went to my favorite restaurant with my grandma and mom. Their salmon salad is amazing so I couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate! It was nice to kind of have a lowkey birthday because these days I like to be in bed by 9 pm haha
