SPRING + EASTER DIY DECOR

One of my favorite things to do in my spare time is craft and do DIY projects. I always scope out the Target Bullseye Playground when I do my shopping and they usually have really cute items that can make for the perfect DIY project. For Easter, they had a bunch of these wooden cut outs for $1 each. I wasn’t obsessed with the color and style so I bought some paint and revamped them. I wanted a more textured consistency so I added baking soda to the paint which gave it a stone like feel.

For my future office, I am going with a pink cottage style so when I saw this Opalhouse ceramic bowl at Target I knew I had to have it. I also bought the Opalhouse ceramic rainbow bookends to go with it. Opalhouse had a vase that went with the link but it was a little pricey for my liking so I decided to scope out Goodwill and find one there that I could paint. I ended up finding this clear vase for only $2.99 and again added the baking soda to the paint for a textured style. It pairs perfectly with the other pink pieces!
