OVER EDEN + PITTSBURGH RESTARAUNT REVIEW

Last week, my best friend and I ventured out to one of my favorite spots in Pittsburgh, Lawrenceville. I have blogged about many places here before but this was the first time visiting Over Eden. I wish we had this weeks weather since it has been in the high 70s the past couple of days but last Friday, was really cold so we ended up eating inside. Unfortunately, the restaurant was at half capacity because of Covid so we had to wait an hour to be seated but they did have a cute little area in the lobby where we ordered a glass of wine and caught up.

Once it was time to get seated, we went to the roof top where we had a view of the entire city. Honestly, it was so nice especially at night! As for the menu, it was very short. I am not sure if that is normal or just because of Covid but I would say that there is something for everyone on it. I ended up getting the Prosciutto Flatbread which had pesto and balsamic on it…..SO GOOD. One thing that I really loved about the menu was that it was broken down into two categories….small plates and large plates. Also, it tells you all of the allergens in each dish as well as if that dish is vegan. I linked their current menu here. I didn’t really drive around to find parking, I just parked at the hotel which was valet. It ended up being $10 for the whole time being there so that would be something to preplan so you have cash if you choose to do so but all in all it was a great experience and I can’t wait to go back!
