Juicing has become so popular over the last year or so that you can almost find it at every grocery store that you go to. That being said, I would typically buy them when I was out and about. Not only are they not as fresh as making my your own but they also are not cheap. Because of that, I had asked my parents for a juicer last year and my mom ended up getting me this one off of Amazon. That was last February and I just now finally got around to using it. Crazy, I know. But honestly, now that we are all basically stuck at home, I couldn’t think of a better time to test it out. Am I right?

My cousin has been juicing for a while now and last summer, she had made me a apple, ginger and carrot juice and it actually was really good so I called her up and she gave me the ingredients. I made that juice first and it was SO SO good as expected. As for the ingredients, I am sure you can guess them. All you need is two apples, three carrots and a tiny piece of ginger. I typically will use the honeycrisp apples since they are sweeter compared to others. After I juice everything, I will let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour or so prior to drinking it. It taste a lot better when it is really cold so I suggest doing that too. Although, if you’re kind of in a rush, you can let it sit in the freezer for a few minutes. That will make it a little bit cold compared to drinking it warm in which I don’t recommend.

The second fresh pressed juice that I made was a celery juice. I was actually shocked on how it tasted. I thought it was going to be disgusting but it actually wasn’t that bad. I used one apple and four celery stalks. Next time, I will use two apples because it had a salty taste so another apple would definitely balance that out more.
