Happy Halloween! I am kind of sad Halloween is already here because that just means we are one step closer to winter. Fall is my favorite season because in my opinion, the leaves changing are so dang gorgeous. I love all things pumpkin spice and apple cider is my absolute favorite. That being said, of course I had to take a trip to my local farms pumpkin patch. Can we say basic? Haha! I went with one of my best friends and we had such a fun time. We first went on a hayride to the pumpkin patch which unfortunately, it wasn’t like an actual patch, they jut had the pumpkins spread out on the ground. Nonetheless, after we found our pumpkins and of course took some photos, we went and attempted the corn maze. After basically twenty minutes of walking back and forth, we gave up and went back out of the entrance, lol! We ended the day with some pumpkin donuts, hot apple cider, and then ended the night at the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game.
This past weekend, my boyfriend and I carved pumpkins and made my fav fall snack, cinnamon sugar pumpkin seeds. I never talked about on here about him much but were kind of like grandparents haha! We don’t go out to bars or get drunk on the weekends anymore. We would much rather sit at home, in pj’s, watching Live PD. If you know, you know. So that is basically exactly what we did this night as you can tell by my OOTN, lol!
Happy Fall Y’all! Gosh, I am so happy fall is here. If you read my Rue 21 post a few posts back, then you saw that I previously worked with them and picked out a few items from their grand opening party. I was waiting to post everything I bought because I wanted to have full outfits put together. This overall dress was one of the pieces that I snagged and it makes such a cute fall look, all while being reasonably priced. When it comes to overall dresses, I tend to not spend much unlike I do with sweaters. I think this outfit would be so cute for Thanksgiving so I will link some of my favs below!
Rue21 Jean Overall Dress $26.99
Rue21 Black Corduroy Overall Dress $26.99
Rue21 Olive Twill Knot Strap Overall Dress $26.99
Forever 21 Corduroy Overall Mini Dress $25.00
Abercrombie & Fitch Button Up Corduroy Pinafore Dress $51.00
I am so excited to share this collaboration with you! I recently had the pleasure of working with Caite & Kyla, a Tampa based clothing company that has pieces in boutiques nationwide. Their clothing is handcrafted in India under fair and ethical working conditions which is absolutely amazing! As for their print selection and embroideries, they are originally created by artisans specifically for their brand. So cool!
Each piece that I received is very well made and so unique. I highly recommend this brand if you’re looking to add some gorgeous pieces into your closet. Go check their fall pieces out here.
Hi Babes! Happy Friday! I have been loving this fall weather so dang much. I recently bought these black Free People jeans which is so out of my comfort zone but I couldn’t resist. They were only $19.99 at my local TJ Max…major score! Now that the weather is finally cooling down, I don’t look so crazy wearing fall outfits. It only took until the middle of October lol! But because it is now jean season, I had to pretty much buy all new jeans because I went down a size. TJ Maxx has the best selection of designer brand jeans for really low prices. I bought a few other pairs so keep a look out!
This past Saturday, my boyfriend and I had dinner at Houlihan’s to try out their new test kitchen menu for fall. I have been to Houlihan’s a few times before, but never really dived into their menu aside from their chicken salad and mashed potatoes which are so so good in case you were wondering! Since I haven’t really tried anything else, I was excited to dive into their new test kitchen menu. The first thing that I started out with is their All-Seasons Spritzer which is made with Aperol, SKYY Infusions Bartlett Pear, Maschio Prosecco, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. If you enjoy light-refreshing drinks, you will love this. It wasn’t overpowering and went down smoothly. I highly recommend.
We then ordered an appetizer, the Grilled Chicken Nachos. I am not really a fan of nachos but these were pretty dang good. They were very fresh and the portion was huge! It came with chili-lime rubbed chicken, chipotle cheese sauce, fresh jalapenos, pico, avocado, sour cream, and black beans. For our entrees, we ordered the Crispy Cauliflower Stir Fry and the Lemony Chicken Piccata. My boyfriend loved the stir fry! I thought it was a little spicy but it was really good nonetheless. The cauliflower tasted like chicken so if you’re not a big fan of it, you won’t even be able to taste the difference. As for the lemony chicken piccata, I absolutely loved it. It was so freaking good and I will definitely be ordering it again. The stir fry consist of housemade general tso style sauce with crispy cauliflower over brown rice, stir fried red bell peppers, snow peas, and scallions. The lemony chicken piccata is made with thinly-pounded, sauteed chicken breast, white wine butter sauce, lemon herb butter, oven roasted tomatoes, lemon asparagus risotto, and fried capers. For dessert, we ordered the Apple Croustade which consisted of cinnamon-sugar apples wrapped in flaky puff pastry, brown sugar oat crumb, vanilla ice cream, and caramel drizzle. I love all things apple, but this was by far one of the best apple desserts that I have had. It was so so so good and the puff pastry just made it that much better.
Thank you again Houlihan’s for having us, everything was very tasty and the service was superb.

Hi Babes! Today, I am sharing with y’all one of my favorite boutiques located in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania. If you are ever in the area, you have to stop in! From clothing to accessories to cute little notepads, they’ve got it all and then some. When you first walk through the door, it is a little overwhelming because everything is so gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing. I personally feel like No 14 focuses on your everyday girl boss. If you love all things sparkly and pink, you will not walk out empty handed. That being said, I am more of a neutrals kinda girl and yet I always walk out with multiple bags. They honestly have so many pieces, no matter your style, you’ll find something you love. This dress was the first one I tried on. Can we talk about how cute their dressing rooms are! I will try to find links for everything posted. Since it is a boutique they will sell out. Don’t live in the area? You can order online or by phone.
I fell in love with this dress and totally regret not buying it. I really, really, really wanted this dress but because I have a short torso, it didn’t fit me right. They had it in multiple colors so you have different options for different types of events. I purchased an outfit for a wedding that I am going to this month as well as a sweater and pearl headband. I will be having two separate blog posts regarding these pieces so check back soon!
