Happy Friday Babes! I have been in kind of a funk lately when it comes to coming up with content. I have really struggled with producing content that looks not only professional but also relatable. After doing a lot of brainstorming, I think I finally have it right. That being said, I am slightly rebranding. If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know what I am talking about. I FINALLY found my niche! I am now focusing solely on what I love and less about what is popular and trendy. If you’ve seen my previous home decor posts, they were all farmhouse related but I am currently in the process of redoing everything. I will be having a more modern-boho look and so far, I love it! So because of all of the changes, if you’re not following me on Instagram, head over and click follow and if you are, stay tuned for lots of fun things in the near future!
Since this is my first post kicking of fall, I wanted to talk about my plans for the next couple of weeks. For starters, I plan on going to lots and lots of haunted houses. My boyfriend and I haven’t gone to many together, so I am excited to take him to some good ones. I also plan on going to a local farm for apple and pumpkin picking. I did that last year and had an absolute blast. It also makes for cute photo sessions! I am planning on drinking a lot of apple cider and pigging out on football Sundays. Last year I did a few football Sunday recipes which everyone loved, so I am planning on doing some more this year. Lastly, I am working on making a schedule for when I post, so when I have that figured out, I will update yall!
Cheers to the second day of Fall! Today, I am sharing one of my all time favorite dresses from Amazon. I am sure if you’re on social media and follow any blogger, you have seen how big Amazon has become when it comes to the fashion world. I still prefer to buy things in-store but I did make a few clothing purchases recently, this dress being one of them. I was really surprised on the quality and how well it has held up after numerous wash cycles. I wore this a few weeks ago when it was still pretty hot out at night which is why I paired it with my Steve Madden espadrilles and my Free People denim jacket. But since it is now officially fall, you could change out the espadrilles for thigh high boots to make the perfect fall outfit!
I wanted to share a cute little eatery that I took my mom and grandma to in Lawrenceville a few weekends back. I have been wanting to go here for years and was so happy to finally make a girls day out of it! The food was so unique and very good and everything was so aesthetically pleasing. I loved the interior and how they prepared all of our meals. Since we went around lunch time, we did order from the brunch menu.
I ordered a hot tea while my mom and grandma ordered a mimosa. To eat, I ordered the french toast (absolutely amazing), my mom ordered a blt, and my grandma ordered the smoked trout. If you’re ever in Lawrenceville, I highly suggest giving The Vandal a visit. I will list their hours and address below.
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 11AM-3PM, 5-9 PM // Friday 11AM-3PM, 5-10PM // Saturday 9AM-2PM, 5-10PM // Sunday 9AM-2PM

I recently had the pleasure of working with CaseApp and I absolutely love the two things that I picked out. If you’re not familiar with CaseApp, they are a worldwide supplier of custom phone cases. They offer many, many different options of cases for all phones and even offer a customizable option. On top of doing phone cases, they also do laptop skins which I LOVE. I have received so many compliments on both my phone case and laptop skin and have had zero issues with dropping my phone and breaking my case ( I drop my phone at least once a day..oops). Head over to their website to pick out some of your favorites!
Last week on September 11, Rue21 had their VIP Grand Opening event at Robinson Mall in Pittsburgh. I had the pleasure of attending the event and had an absolute blast doing so. I have never shopped at Rue21 before so it was cool to check out a brand new store. I was able to bring a plus one as well as giveaway two tickets on my Instagram to two of my followers. My two friends ended up winning so it was nice to all hangout for a little. I brought my mom as my plus one since she always helps take my photos and is basically the backbone to this blog. We all received swag bags with merchandise which was also super cool! If you’re around Robinson Mall, go give them a visit! Thanks again to Rue21 for including me in your special day!
This past weekend, my boyfriend and I went to a cute little wine bar in the South Hills. It was so much fun trying different types of wine and eating our super yummy charcuterie board! We ended up hanging there for a few hours and I loved every second of it. Totally my vibe lol! I highly suggest giving this place a visit if you’re in the South Hills. They had many different types of wines to choose from as well as different types of charcuterie boards and flat breads. The workers are also very helpful and knowledgeable which makes it easy to order!

This past Friday my boyfriend, a few friends, and I went to the Carnegie Science Center for a Stranger Things event that they were hosting. It has been years and years since I have been here so it was nice to check everything out again. Although the event had pretty much nothing to do with Stranger Things we all had fun reminiscing. If you’re looking for something to do in Pittsburgh, I definitely would give the Science Center a visit, especially if you have little ones. As for parking, they have a parking lot right near the entrance which makes it a lot more convenient. I do believe you have to pay to park unless if that was just for the event. Inside, they have plenty of restrooms as well as a little gift shop. Check out their website here.
